Today my family went to Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio. My favorite part was the Ledges. There was bright emerald green moss on the rocks and cliff edges. We hiked through a cave called the Ice Box. I learned that the Cuyahoga River has caught on fire many times! It was so dirty, that it actually burned.
The fire in 1969 inspired Earth Day and the Clean Water Act.

Thank you for the birthday wishes!!! My favorite place in nature is the Redwood forest! I like it because it has a lot of banana slugs, really tall tress and colorful birds. My favorite place that has to do with nature is Hawaii. It has lots of colorful birds and beautiful blue oceans. It also has sparkling, golden, soft sand. It has lots of grass-green palm trees surrounding the golden sand. I'm looking forward to seeing it's amazing sights again this December. I hope you can come to see me soon!

ReplyDeleteYour picture is wonderful. What a beautiful spot! My favorite place in nature is Aspen Grove. We went to several Aspen Grove Family Camps when your dad was a teenager and had lots of fun. I especially liked looking at the spectacular mountains and the quaking aspens.

My favorit place in nature is the Timpanogas Mountain did you know that the mountain is shaped like an indian girl. So maddie, for Easter I got a black and white zoo zoo pet.it's name is Wiky. I also got little baby zoo zoo pet named Muffin.
hay maddie it's Jessie, my favriot nature park is Yellow stone natial park I like Yellow stone cause it's very extraordenary. My favriot part of Yellow stone is the quaking aspens, there are tree's that are very very tall and Yellow Stone has lot's of them. I relly hope to see you in San Diago,

Hi Maddie, Cuyahoga Valley sounds like a beautiful place. Did you know that Aunt Gena's birthday is on Earth Day? My favorite place is nature are the redwood forests. I love those trees. They are so large and old. Some have survived for thousands of years. They also make a great little house/room (in those with the burned out base.) I love the whole habitat - redwood sorrel, huckleberries, flowers, animals. I would love to live among the old growth redwoods, but they love rain and fog.
