Happy Halloween!

How are you celebrating Halloween right now?
I wonder what your costumes are going to be like.

  1. Dear Maddie,
Whenever I think of Halloween, I think of how close it is to your Daddy's birthday! When he was born, your Great Grandma Lloyd said, "He'll be able to have such fun costume birthday parties!" Uncle Jeff used to have costume birthday parties for your Daddy. Do you remember them? I have pictures of your family at one of them. You were the vampire family. I'll probably be my usual -- Fairy Godmother. I guess I need to get out of that rut and think of something different. Any ideas? I sure do love you. Grandma Lloyd

  2. Hi Maddie!
For Halloween, I'm going to be a bumble bee. I'm not really in to bumble bees lately but this year, I wanted to keep it nice and simple. When I saw this costume on a store website, I imagined myself in it and thought it was simple, but super cute. On the shirt it is all black and has yellow and tiny gold sparkles coming out on ruffles that are (of course) attached to the shirt. The skirt is really cute. It has tiny yellow and gold sparkles (just like the shirt). I have black footless leggings that I'll wear with my black shoes that I usually wear with Sunday dresses. It also has a black headband that looks like bee antennae!
I'll get to wear it at least 4 times. I'll wear it to a church party, my Halloween piano recital, my school Halloween party and, of course, trick-or- treating!
I love Halloween! It is a fun time of year!
    Love your cousin, Tatum

  3. I know this is late Maddie but the kids wanted to tell you what they were. Sydney was a rain cloud. She designed it all and I made it for her. It turned out really good and she was so proud of it. Bella wanted to be a Ninja. We got her costume, it was silky black with a red dragon on the front and a red sash. Then she added to it to become a NINJA KITTY! She had me paint nose and whiskers on her face and she wore her kitty ears from dress-up. Preston and Davis were plain Ninjas. It was a week full of parties and way to much candy. Just don't tell the kids I said way to much candy. They don't think there is ever to much candy.
